You can make the YMCA of Southern Interior BC’s mission a year-round priority by signing up for our monthly giving program. By making a monthly contribution that fits within your budget you will provide a stable, much-needed source of annual funding to support the YMCA’s areas of greatest need. The YMCA has two signature events that we run each year: YMCA Cycle for Strong Kids and YMCA Make a Splash & Drown-Proof the Okanagan. These fantastic events come with plenty of opportunities for sponsorship with different levels of recognition.
Host your own fundraising event
Hosting a fundraising event is easy.
- Come up with a great idea! Funds from events can be generated through sports tournaments, walk/runs, dinner ticket sales, auctions, percentage of food/beverage sales, sponsorships, bottle drives, car washes and so much more.

Donate your Bottle Refund
It's easy to donate your returnable beverage container refund.
- Place your unsorted beverage containers into clear plastic bags
- Bring the bags to your nearest Return-It Express Depot
Find an Express Depot - Print and scan your labels at the label stand
- Click on "PRINT LABELS"
- Enter the YMCA of SIBC's phone number: 250-491-9622
- Select how many labels you need to print (one per bag)
- Place one label on each bag
- Start scanning your bag labels with a scan gun located below the drop-off window
- The screen on the kiosk will confirm if you successfully scanned your bag labels
- Drop your bags in the designated area or hand them to a clerk.
