The YMCA of Southern Interior BC extends an enormous THANK YOU to the riders, sponsors, donors, attendees, staff, volunteers, the City of Kelowna, and everyone else who made this extraordinary event such an amazing success.
We Did It!
We are thrilled to announce that together we raised over $278,000—a record-breaking total! Thanks to YOU, we’ve blown past our goal and will now be able to support over 1,800 low-income children and at-risk youth right here in our community.
This isn’t just a number. It’s a child who gets to join a swim class for the first time. A teen who finds a safe space and support through our mental health programs. A family who feels seen, supported, and uplifted, and a senior lifted out of isolation. You made that happen.
Your dedication—whether you were cheering on riders, setting up tents, managing logistics, or simply spreading the word—was the heartbeat of this event. You brought the spirit, the smiles, and the soul.
A Day of Fun and Activities
YMCA Cycle for Strong Kids is a one-day, action-packed event made possible through the generosity and support of local donors, partners and participants. This year, over 280 adults and 32 children took centre stage at Stuart Park, pedaling for hope and change. Thousands of families enjoyed a Kids Zone sponsored by Unison Jane Hoffman Realty, Wellness Zone sponsored by Kelowna High Performance, photobooth sponsored by PUR KIDS® Foundation, food and beverage zone, and so much more.
It's Not Too Late to Donate
Support local children and families right here in your community. Donations are no longer being counted towards the 2025 YMCA Cycle for Strong Kids fundraising total, but they still make an impact!

Passport Prize Draw
Thank you for participating in the Kid Zone activity stations! The passport prize draw contest closed at 2 p.m. on June 1, 2025. The winners were randomly selected and notified on June 2, 2025. Each prize will be awarded to one winner. The winners must claim their prize from the Kelowna Family YMCA (375 Hartman Rd.) by June 30, 2025.
