19th Annual YMCA Cycle for Strong Kids
19th Annual
YMCA Cycle for Strong Kids
Presented by The Payton and Dillon Budd Memorial Fund
Thank You!
The YMCA of Southern Interior BC extends a standing ovation to our incredible cast and crew from riders, sponsors, donors, attendees, staff, volunteers, the City of Kelowna, and everyone who helped bring this unforgettable production to life. Your support made this event a true box office success! THANK YOU!
A Record-Breaking Performance
We’re thrilled to announce that together, we raised over $326,000, our highest total yet. Thanks to YOU, we didn’t just meet our goal… we soared past it. This remarkable achievement means we can now support more than 1,950 children, youth, families, and seniors in our community.
This isn’t just a number, it’s a child who gets to join a swim class for the first time or gets to enjoy day camps. A teen who finds a safe space and support through our mental health programs. A family who feels seen, supported, and uplifted, and a senior lifted out of isolation. You made that happen!
Your dedication—whether you were cheering on riders, setting up tents, managing logistics, or simply spreading the word—was the heartbeat of this event. You brought the spirit, the smiles, and the soul.
From all of us at the Y… thank you for helping make this production award-worthy in every way.
A Day of Fun and Activities
YMCA Cycle for Strong Kids is a one-day, action-packed event made possible through the incredible generosity and support of local donors, sponsors, partners and participants. This year, more than 300 adult riders and 32 junior riders took center stage at Stuart Park, pedaling for hope and change in our community.
This fundraising event featured something for everyone, with thousands of families enjoying the Kids Zone sponsored by Unison Jane Hoffman Realty, a Wellness Zone hosted by Kelowna High Performance, and the high-energy Power & Performance sponsored by Argus Properties. Fun photo moments were captured at booths sponsored by PUR KIDS® Foundation.
Guests also gathered in the Food and Beverage Zone, hosted by Tim Hortons, Domino’s and Train Station Hospitality, along with so many other activities throughout the day.
