Youth Zone

Connect and unwind after school. Drop by the Y to hang out with friends, have a snack, catch up on homework, and more. Friendly Y leaders will be available if you’d like help with homework or setting up sports, games, and activities. But you’re free to spend your time however you like and may even bring a book or hobby from home. Sometimes we’ll run special workshops where you can learn something new.

Youth Nights

Enjoy the Kelowna Family for free on select Friday Nights throughout the year! Explore our gymnasium, fitness centre, pools, and chill zones. You can play sports, go for a swim, play video games, work out, grab a bite to eat, or just hang out with your friends. Sometimes there may be opportunities to get involved in your community.

Swim Lessons and Lifeguard Certifications

Enjoy pools, water parks, and lakes with confidence knowing you have the skills to swim and stay safe around the water. If you’re already passionate about swimming, you can share that passion with others by becoming a certified lifeguard or swim instructor.
