Summer Camps

YMCA camps provide a safe and inclusive space where your child can make friends and stay engaged over the summer months. Your child will have a variety of options for active and creative play, depending on their age and interests.

Registration is open with limited spaces available.


Recreational Camps

Recreational camps teach physical literacy and social-emotional skills through sports, swimming, games, and creative activities.

Weekly Pricing

Recreational summer camps run every week from July 4–September 1.

Regular Week (5 days): $225 (members) or $275 (non‑members)
Holiday Week (4 days): $180 (members) or $220 (non‑members)

Financial assistance is available to those in need.

Kinder Camps (Ages 3–5)

Your little one will express their imagination and develop their gross motor skills through a variety of creative activities and active play—indoors, outdoors and in the pool!

Time: 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

School-Age Camps (Ages 6–12)

Where else can you meet friends, try different sports, and swim every day?

Mornings will include time in the pool and a focus on a weekly sport (weekly focuses include basketball, soccer and multisport). Kids will have the opportunity to develop their swimming and athletic skills in a fun and non-competitive environment.

Afternoons will include time outside and a variety of activities for kids to choose from during down time, including games, crafts, and more. Y camps include elements of physical literacy and social emotional learning, caring mentors, and a safe and inclusive environment to keep active and engaged.

Time: 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Child Care Camps

Licensed YMCA Child Care centres are a home away from home, where your child can make friends and explore their interests.

Weekly Pricing

Regular week (5 days): $240
Holiday week (4 days): $192

Week 1: Passport to Fun

July 4–7
Your child will get their passport stamped as they visit Canadian winters, jungle animals, oceans and travel in time.

Week 2: Bug-tastic!

July 10–14
Your child will explore the secret life of insects, flowers, and trees through reading and outdoor exploration.

Week 3: Under Construction

July 17–21
Your child will have all the materials they need to take their creative building projects from planning to finished product.

Week 4: Y Makes a Difference

July 24–28
Your child will give back to their community through random acts of kindness and helping the environment.

Week 5: Moovin' and Groovin'

July 31–August 4
Your child will get active through dance, yoga, aqua aerobics, basketball, soccer, flag football and more.

Week 6: Pop, Fizz and Crackle!

August 8–11
Your child will get silly with science experiments, weird crafts and zany activities while celebrating their unique qualities.

Week 7: Hawaiian Hullabaloo

August 14–18
Your child will step into a Hawaiian paradise with tropical crafts, games, food and music, leading up to a YMCA Luau.

Pro-D Day Camps

Bring kids in to burn off some energy with gym activities, swimming, crafts, and games.

Winter Holiday Camps

We offer camps over the winter holiday for some festive fun. More details will be available in the fall.

Spring Break Camps

Our spring break camps provide a fun, engaging, and safe place where kids can be kids. Activities will include games, sports, swim, creative activities and more! Details coming in March.

Child & Youth Programs and Recreation

From swimming to sports, art, leadership, movie nights and Family Play Time, the Y has a variety of recreational programs available year round to keep all ages and stages active, social, and engaged in a fun setting. 

Financial Assistance

As a charity, the Y believes no family should be turned away because of financial circumstances. Thanks to generous donors, the Y is able to provide financial assistance on camps and children's programs to families who could not otherwise afford them.
