Annual Facility Maintenance
The Kelowna Family Y and H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre will be undergoing routine annual maintenance this fall to ensure our facilities remain safe and in top condition.
Dates are subject to change and may be updated as needed. We recommend referring back to this page for details and status updates. For questions and concerns, please don't hesitate to connect with a Member Services staff member during your next visit.
Kelowna Family Y
Maintenance at the Kelowna Family Y will occur between August 22–September 20, 2026.
Closure Dates
- Main pool, leisure pool, hot tub, and sauna—closed August 22–September 7
- Deep pool—closed August 22–September 20
- Gymnasium—closed September 2–7
- Full facility—closed September 3 and 4
Child minding will remain open during all closures except the full facility closure on September 3 & 4.
Alternative Access
Kelowna Family Y members may access the following centres during the maintenance period.
- Access to H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre from August 22–September 7 (H2O Hours and Schedules)
- The Kelowna Downtown Y will be open and available for Kelowna Family Y members to access as usual.
H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre
Annual maintenance at the H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre will take place between September 8–30, 2026.
Closure Dates
- Upper Pool Deck—closed September 8–30
- Upper Pool Deck includes 50m pool and adult hot tub.
- Lower Pool Deck—closed September 8–13
- Lower pool deck includes family hot tub, FlowRider®, wave pool, and steam room.
- Women's change room—closed September 8–12
- Men's change room—closed September 13–17
- Universal change room—closed September 18–29
The Fitness Floor and Child Minding will remain open throughout the maintenance period.
Alternative Access
H2O members may access the Kelowna Family Y during the maintenance period.
Kelowna Downtown Y
The Kelowna Downtown Y will remain open as usual.
