2025 Highlights
- Advanced our digital journey by launching a three year Digital Transformation Project to improve how we support our people, manage our systems, and deliver services.
- Deepened our commitment to advocacy and government relations by meeting with key municipal and provincial leaders to advocate for YMCA priorities and explore new opportunities.
- Recruited four new board members, bringing valuable expertise and fresh perspective to our leadership table.
- Participated in the Good Governance project, allowing us to further assess and strengthen our governance practices across the organization.
- Conducted a comprehensive wage analysis led to revised pay scales that support staff retention, equity, and satisfaction.
- Launched our first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Work Well Survey, gaining important insight into our culture and commitment to belonging.
- Fundraising events such as Smile Cookie, the Golf Tournament, and Cycle for Strong Kids exceeded their goals, helping us surpass our overall fundraising goal by year end.
- Maintained strong performance across key metrics—member satisfaction, employee engagement, culture, child safeguarding, and program quality.
- Completed our new Strategic Plan, Igniting Potential, that reflects our commitment to people, impact, and sustainability, and provides a clear roadmap for supporting our community now and into the future.
