A local award-winning custom builder, Harmony Homes, has built a dream house that anyone would be proud to call home. Additionally, they’ve made a significant gift in support of the two local charities – the YMCA of Southern Interior BC and KGH Foundation - who launched their first lottery this fall to create healthier communities together.

The grand prize residence, nestled in a nationally award-wining community located in Lake Country, features a 4 bedroom luxury home with a value of over $1.75 Million.

“The home is designed for entertaining with an open concept kitchen that leads out to a large pool-sized back yard, and an expansive deck with views of Okanagan Lake,” says Jason Webb, President of Harmony Homes. “But we wanted to do more than just build beautiful homes – my partner Rick Squair and I wanted to give back to the community who have supported us over the years and to provide everyone the opportunity to live their best life.”

The Property Source Group, a local real estate team, also contributed to making this year’s lottery dream home a reality.

“The YMCA of Southern Interior BC is a charity close to our hearts and when we heard they were collaborating with the KGH Foundation to raffle a home of one of the builders we work with, we knew we wanted to be involved,” says Gino Dal Ponte and Danielle Medley of the Property Source Group.

The Lake Life Lottery has more than $2M in prizes to be won, including luxury vehicles, vacations, and a shot at a life-changing cash prize through a 50/50 draw.

“This is a very important partnership and fundraiser for our community,” says CEO Allyson Graf, YMCA of Southern Interior BC. “It is absolutely critical for us to be able to support the physical, mental and social health of the children, families and seniors both the YMCA and Kelowna General Hospital serve. We are so grateful for the generosity of Harmony Homes and the Property Source Group and the impact they are helping us make.”

This lottery makes everyone a winner as it supports local health care. The Early Bird prize – a top-of-the line speedboat, $25,000 cash and a trip to St. Lucia or Australia – will close on November 3rd. The home is open to the public for tours until November 24, the final deadline for the Lake Life Lottery.
