In a time when nothing seems normal, seeing a familiar face and participating in a familiar activity can bring a sense of normalcy back to our lives when we need it most. That is what many have been saying about Michelle and Collin's new live fitness classes streamed through Facebook and Instagram.

"People still want to focus on their mental and physical well-being," says Michelle. "And this platform allows us all to do that, while also bringing us closer together. Even though we are not standing side-by-side, we all still feel connected."

Over the past few weeks, Michelle has been volunteering her time to provide these live classes, and has also been filming fitness videos for YThrive Home, which anyone can access at any time. Because of the positive response from our community, Michelle is now offering live classes 5 days a week!

"I am passionate about what I do and the people I serve," Michelle explains. "Our Y members mean a lot to me. I know many of them are going through a tough time right now, and I am glad I can do my small part to brighten their day. The fact that they will tune in to a class and spend that 1 hour with me, fills me up more than I can ever fill them up. Honestly, I can't be me without them."

During live classes you can see comments including, "good morning" and "keep going puuuusssshhh", creating a sense of community and togetherness that all of us are missing.

"If it makes someone feel a little bit lighter, it means the world to me."

Thank you Michelle for bringing us all closer together and continuing to kick our butts!
